Dear Maria Dear Searatoa

It is with great sadness that we learnt that Oupa has passed away. Even though we have been separated by thousands of kilometres for many years already, it is a great loss. We present you our deep-felt condolences.

We loved (and still love) Oupa for his deep humaneness, his warmth, his humour and his commitment for those in our societies who did not enjoy the same privileges as we do.

We wish you strength and confidence in this very difficult time.
