Condolences first of all on your recent loss. Oupa’s passing is a big blow to the left in South Africa and to the cause of international socialism. I met Oupa on several occasions during my visits to South Africa in recent decades and he struck me as a remarkable and principled comrade.<\/p>\n
I just had a look at the website you have set up to promote his writing (https:\/\/oupalehulere.org.za) and noticed you didn\u2019t have a chapter he wrote for a book I edited in 2003. It is an important account of the rightward drift of COSATU economic policy in the 1990s. I have attached it with this email and hope you might be able to make use of it on this website.<\/p>\n
