My dear Maria, with great sadness and still not being able to believe. We just heard from Shosh that lovable sweet Oupa passed away. So young, so suddenly, so unexpected! didn’t we have plans to meet again in Avlaki, swim again together, go to that fishtavern again, have a good laugh again, make plans to meet in South Africa one day? It’s still so unbelievable, my dear Maria – I don’t know what to say. Cant even imagine the horror you and your daughter go through. Trying to imagine your last phase with Oupa, hoping and wishing it’s a phya of life you were able to ‘agree with’ and can remember as a tender time of goodbye. Christos and I send you all our love!
