CORONAVIRUS POEM

Who am I?

What am I?

Where do I come from?

What do I want?

My name is Coronavirus

Some of you call me COVID-19

I’m the most dangerous enemy of the universe

I’m like a lethal chemical mass weapon

I’m from a family of viruses

I’m from the valley of the eyes of darkness

I don’t care who you are

Black or white

President or minister

Priest or congregation

Famous or notorious

Poor or rich

A child or an adult

I attack all like a lion

I came to steal your beloved ones

I came to destroy families

I came to destroy churches

I came to destroy the worldwide economy

Yes, I’m Coronavirus

I cannot be easily stopped

I cannot be easily contained

I cannot be easily diagnosed

I cannot be easily controlled

Because I spread very fast

I attack very fast

When you don’t cover your nose/mouth when sneezing

When you don’t cover your mouth when coughing

When you don’t wash/sanitise your hands frequently

When you don’t quarantine yourself

When you don’t keep yourself away from the masses

When you don’t get tested

Those who know more about me

They will not be easily attacked

Because they take me very seriously

To stay protected

This isn’t a joke, I’m alive

I’m your real enemy not your good Samaritan

I’m a true soldier of the darkness

Your life is in your hands
