The Blah Blah Brothers Productions was established in April 2017 by Dingaan Khanye, Tumelo Ntsalo and Potsane Mohale. The idea was to form an inclusive movement that will unearth the talent of local creatives in working-class communities.

The Blah Blah Brothers operate in Bophelong extension 16 community hall. They are known for their extraordinary theatre talent but they are also into filming, podcasts and radio drama. Since their establishment in 2017 they have since adopted youth under their wing, they offer them theatre and dance lessons every day after school and during school holidays. Tumelo Ntsalo explains how they structure their teaching to suit the youth’s understanding. “To teach children you should be a child yourself and adjust to their level so they are not intimidated by the age gap”.

Although they do all this work with youth for free they sometimes do charge for the lessons especially during school holidays because they spend more time with the youth during the day. While other organisations disintegrate, The Blah blah brothers have managed to stick together because they confront the different issues they have in their organisation and resolve them. They have also developed a good relationship with the community.  The brothers have also participated in a lot of different activities and won two awards for best director and moment of brilliance from the Ishashalazi theatre and Motjeko Dance Festival. They are currently working on a new project called Tsa Mophato.
