Kamuhelo Surprise Mailula (21) is a theatre practitioner, Screen Actor, Writer and Audience Developer at Page to Stage. A community theatre Organisation that is based at Protea South. He was born in Limpopo at Elim hospital on 2001, 23 March 2001. Mailula was raised by his grandparents because her mother was still studying.

He went to Mambo Primary school at Tshiawelo Ex 2 in Soweto, and finished Matric at Vuwani Secondary School, he then furthered his studies at Rosebank College in Braamfontein as a journalism student but then, he dropped out during his final year due to a mental breakdown and Financial related issues. He grew up in a very unstable environment, in which community icons/role models were people who steal cars, this influenced his life of vandalism, smoking, gambling and a few criminal activities during his adolescent stages.

An event in which one of his peers was stabbed in the eye and died on the scene changed his behaviour and outlook in life. He shifted his focus to drama in high school, participating in the inner-city festival, brought by the Outreach Foundation, Drama for Life, a program under Wits University. Mailula is interested in becoming a lecturer and is currently in a process of applying to enrol in a theatre institution.
