With live performances by Haidar Eid (renowned Palestinian academic and musician) and South African social justice band, The Mavr!x, along with a talk by Rifka Al-Amya on her experience of being a woman and a mother living under occupation in Gaza and the importance of feminism including Palestine, poetry readings, and a discussion on the importance of culture, art, and music in resistance and battling cultural appropriation; the evening is one not to miss.
