This workshop discussion brings together out of school youth and cultural activists to explore the multifaceted role of culture in organising and movement building, especially under the current context under Covid-19. The discussion will draw on the rich international and South African experiences of the use of cultural interventions in organising both before and after apartheid in South Africa. The workshop will explore ideas for drawing on culture in organising in South Africa today.
