Download PDFThe Ekhuruleni Pride Organising Committee (EPOC) was formed in 2008 by Ntupe Mohapi. Mohapi was motivated by the cruel killing of the Banyana Banyana captain Eudy Simelanei in Kwa-Thema, Ekhuruleni as a result of a hate crime. EPOC hosts dialogues with a very vast circle of people, educating the community about LGBTQIA+. The Organisation also hosts toiletry drives where people get to donate toiletry bags and give them to the community mostly the identified needy.
