Download PDFSiyabonga is a member of the FeesMustFall, helping to organise student protests at the University of Johannesburg and Wits University. Siyabonga was a part of the Pan Africanist Student Movement of Azania helping to establish the UJ branch in 2015. Better known as Siya, he is a member of the Das Kapital Study Group dedicated to basal Marxist literature to help build an activist cadre, also as part of the Khanya College movement building.
During four education and development-laden years at Khanya College, Siya became a member of the Forum of Activist Journalists under which he continues to write for Karibu and other affiliated publications. Currently, Siya is a part of the Walter Rodney Library which is run by fellow FeesMustFall comrades and is helping to facilitate chess to youth organised by Khanya, at the College’s monthly Cultural activities.
